Tenant Fees
Fees prior to the start of the tenancy
Holding deposit - 1 week's rent
Security deposit - 5 week's rent
Fees during the tenancy
Key replacement charge - If you require a key or key fob to the property to be replaced, the cost of the replacement key will be passed onto you with an invoice to demonstrate proof of cost.
Missed Contractor Appointment charge - If you miss a pre-agreed appointment with a contractor, the cost of any contractor fees will be passed onto you with an invoice to demonstrate proof of cost.
Out of Hours Contractor charge - If you require a contractor to attend the property out of hours due to an emergency caused by your own act, the cost of any contractor fees will be passed onto you with an invoice to demonstrate proof of cost.
Unless otherwise agreed in your tenancy agreement, you will be responsible for paying for the following if connected to the property:
Council Tax
Utilities - gas, electricity, water
Communications - telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
If you cause damage to the property and do not rectify the damage, you may be required to make payment of contractor invoices for remedial works to cover the loss incurred by your landlord. You will be provided with an invoice to demonstrate proof of the landlord's loss.
If you request an early termination of your tenancy, outside of any break clause stated in your tenancy agreement, you may be required to make payment of rent until the tenancy is terminated and cover the loss incurred by your landlord. You will be provided with an invoice to demonstrate proof of the landlord's loss.
